Overview
Uganda is a land-locked country in East Africa and is one of only 3 countries where Mountain Gorillas can still be found in the wild. We will drive along the equator through amazing African landscape and trek the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi in search of the gorillas then the adventure continues to rafting the wild rapids at the source of the White Nile.

Pickup upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, then drive to our hotel in Kampala for some rest and spend the day exploring the capital of Uganda and getting ready for our adventure.

Early morning departure from Kampala and transfer to south western Uganda to Bwindi National Park, a world’s Heritage site famous for the gorilla trekking and one of only 3 places in the world where mountain gorillas can still be found in the wild. En route to the Park, we will have a stopover at the Equator for pictures and also have a chance to see the area which separates both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. Have another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch after which we will continue with our journey through breathtaking landscape to our Ecolodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we will have briefing about Gorillas from Uganda Wildlife Authority and we will be given a guideline booklet to learn how to behave while in the forest while near the Gorillas. Bwindi Rain forest is so spectacular and it offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape which is incredibly dense, crisscrossed by numerous trails allowing access to tourists to see the Gorillas. The experience gained from seeing the Gorillas is one of the most unforgettable experiences ever! Besides Mountain Gorillas, other mammals in the forest include the rare golden monkey, buffaloes, elephants, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and a lot of bird species. We will have our packed Lunch and water with us because the time taken to see the Gorillas varies according to the movements of the Gorillas. After our trek we will return back to the lodge for refreshments and dinner.

Today we visit Jinja where the source of the Nile River is located, First we visit the Bujjagali falls then go for White Water Rafting adventure on the mighty Nile River. Lunch then transfer back to Kampala.
