Overview
Along the decades Morocco has been one of the most diversified countries in terms of culture, nature and food which made it one of the best all year round destinations around the world. Our journey will take us to the blue-washed city of Chefchaoun in the midst of the Rif mountains the imperial city of Fes wiht its rich history then continue to the timeless city of Marrakech and the amazing atlas mountains and beautiful Berber villages and concludes in the white-washed city of Essaouira by the Atlantic Ocean.

Arrival in Casablanca airport, pickup and transfer to Tangier, home of Cape Spartel where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. After Check-in we will explore the old medina of Tangier, visit the caves of Hercules which is according to Greek legend, Hercules rested in this striking cave after digging the Strait of Gibraltar, from here we will also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean. We will also visit Cape Spartel and the famous lighthouse at the tip of Africa

After Breakfast we will drive to Chefchaouen the blue washed town in the midst of the Rif mountains. Founded in 1471, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in the world. Its blue washed buildings, narrow alleys, colorful handicrafts and the Rif mountains come together to form a very unique atmosphere in this mystical town. After check-in the Riad we will start to explore the medina on foot as we pass by blue houses, narrow alleys and ancient mosques. Stop for lunch in one of the local restaurants then go for a guided sunset hike to the Spanish mosque in the closeby green hills for an amazing panoramic view over the town.

In the morning we will leave for our trek into the amazing Rif Mountains. Depending on the season we will either trek to the beautiful Akchour waterfall or the stunning God’s bridge in Talasemtane National Park. After the hike we will drive back to Chefchaouen for dinner and we can visit a local Moroccan Hammam to ease our muscles from the hike.

Breakfast then drive to Fes, Morocco’s ancient capital and spend the day exploring the ancient medina of Fes. As one of the imperial cities and the historical capitals of Morocco, Fes (also known as the ‘Mecca of the West’) makes an amazing example of ancient Morocco.

Wake up very early in the morning and drive to Tinghir to visit Todgha Gorge, a spectacular canyon with 300m high walls that offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Atlas Mountains, especially the last 600m where the canyon is at its narrowest point with towering walls on both sides. Afterwards we will drive through the the road of 1000 kasbahs to Ouarzazate for overnight.

Breakfast then explore Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, we will visit the ancient Taourirt Kasbah and the outdoor studios where movies such as ‘Lawrence of Arabia,’ ‘The Mummy’ and ‘Gladiator’ were filmed then continue to Ait Benhaddou, a well-preserved Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch then drive across the amazing Tizi-n-Tichka pass to Marrakech.

The red walls of Marrakech and various buildings constructed in red sandstone, have given the city the nickname of the “Red City”. We will spend our day exploring the timeless city of Marrakech, its ancient medina and the famous Jemaa ElFnaa square.

After breakfast we will drive towards the High Atlas Mountains via Tahnnaout, oued Ghighaya & Asni with the majestic views of villages hanging on the mountains along the way. Arrival in Imlil (1740m) meet our guide and muleteers then start our trek by climbing Tizi Mzik pass (2684m) offering a spectacular view over Imlil valley and Toubkal summit. Continue to Tamsoulte to visit the highest waterfall in Atlas Mountains then hike down the Azzaden Valley though juniper forest to get to Tizi Oussem village.

Trekking Time: 6 hours
After Breakfast, we continue our trek in the High Atlas mountains and its marvelous traditional Berber villages. We leave Tizi Oussem and continue down to Id Issa village then we start our climb to Tizi Ouidid mountain pass (2000m), crossing through Matat village. Lunch and relax by the river then transfer back to Marrakech.

Drive to the white washed city of Essaouira by the Atlantic Ocean. Check-in Riad and spend the day relaxing by the Ocean or we can opt to try out surfing the waves of the Atlantic or cycle around town. In the evening we can stroll around the markets for souvenir shopping and local food tryouts.

Transfer to Casablanca, visit Hassan II mosque by the Atlantic Ocean then transfer to the airport for final departure.
